Zero-friction idea capture service. Drop a thought, route it to the right substrate later.

knock-knock is the inbox edge of the ecosystem: a tiny capture surface for half-formed ideas, links to revisit, sketches of specs not yet written. The point is sub-five-second latency between “I have a thought” and “it’s recorded somewhere I’ll actually look later”.

Routing into the right substrate (a Factory goal, an AttentionRouter signal queue, a personal note) is the downstream work — capture itself is intentionally dumb.

Service status: in repair. The hosted instance at knock-knock.codecot.com is currently down. The repo at codecot/knock-knock is the source of truth.
